Plum, Japanese persimmon and camelia design cup - Item Code: C000279
Open price
This is a cup for enjoying sake and it called “ochoko” in Japanese. There depict a plum blossom representing spring, a persimmon, the fruit of autumn, and a camellia, the flower that represents winter, respectively. Small enough to fit in your hand, it is intended for "enjoying sake sip by sip." When drinking cold sake, the taste of the sake will be lost as the temperature rises, so a small ochoko is useful for drinking sake while it is still cold.
